This weapon has fast shooting rate, but its accuracy declines depending on the range of shot. It is very good for close combat, but its lame for shooting a distant targets. The pistol will scare plant eaters, but the noise will alert dangerous carnivores.

The exact identity of the Pistol is unknown, however the Dinopedia confirms it shoots 9 mm rounds (but it is unknown which 9mm round it fires - 9x18, 9x19 or 9x21).
But it looks more like a PY since Action Forms belongs to Ukraine(which was part of the former USSR) and the PY pistol(also known as Yarygin pistol) also came out at the same time in same region(eastern Europe) and Action Forms may have looked upon to this pistol when they were making the game. It is also the current service handgun for RussianFederation.
A major discrepancy of the Pistol compared to all real-world semiautomatic designs is that the slide or hammer do not move at all when firing, and that the Hunter is able to reload the weapon without needing to either release the slide or manually rechamber a new round. The latter could be explained if the weapon is being reloaded with a round in the chamber and using a magazine that, for some reason, holds one less round.
Appearances & Changes[]
The pistol first appeared in Carnivores 2 and since has appeared in every game in the series, except for the reboots where the Revolver took its role.
The pistol in the Android version of Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter is free and its bullets are also free.
